Angela Bendorf Jamison
Angela is dedicated to serving her clients and community. She founded Communicopia in 1998, after working as a journalist, public relations/advertising agency account supervisor and corporate communications manager.
Graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in agricultural journalism, then working in her first job as a newspaper reporter and editor, she went on to serve in leadership roles with marketing organizations, including Bader Rutter & Associates, Valentine Radford Advertising and BASF Corporation in Research Triangle Park.
Angela first established Communicopia in Raleigh, managing the agency’s growth and evolution into the full-service marketing and public relations firm it is today. Now with offices in historic downtown Wake Forest, North Carolina, Communicopia has local as well as national clients.
Originally from a farming community in Iowa, Angela moved to North Carolina for her career and has chosen the area as her home, where she and her husband Warner raised their daughter.
Angela stays active in her industry and her community. She’s a Wake Forest Rotarian and served as District Governor for 50 Rotary clubs in the greater Triangle. She is chair of the Wake Forest Community Council, a member of the Raleigh Professional Women’s Forum and has served as president of the Rolesville Friends of FFA, the Rolesville High Business Alliance, vice chair of Wake Forest Downtown, Inc. board of directors and committees for the Wake Forest Area Chamber of Commerce–where Communicopia was honored with the award of Small Business of the Year.
With extensive knowledge of public relations and marketing communications, Angela brings creativity to every project along with a desire to help differentiate clients from their competitors.
Camryn joined Communicopia in July 2022 as a public relations writer/account coordinator, responsible for writing (news releases, marketing plans, website content, advertising and promotional copy and more), social media and graphic design, among other marketing duties.
Her love for writing and design blossomed during the summer of 2014 while interning at The Wake Weekly, a local newspaper based in Wake Forest, where she wrote her own column.
She currently studies Graphic Design and Advertising at Wake Technical Community College and serves as the outreach coordinator of the Graphic Design Association.
She is also an active participant within her community and serves as a member of the Raleigh Midtown Rotary Club and the Wake Forest Chamber’s Young Professionals group.
Camryn was born in Raleigh and moved to rural Wake Forest with her parents when she was four years old. She’s proud to call Wake Forest home and enjoys the atmosphere of historic downtown.
When not at work, Camryn spends time with friends, takes long walks outdoors and drives her Volkswagen.
