Angela Bendorf Jamison
Angela is dedicated to serving her clients and community. She founded Communicopia in 1998, after working as a journalist, public relations/advertising agency account supervisor and corporate communications manager.
Graduating from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a degree in agricultural journalism, then working in her first job as a newspaper reporter and editor, she went on to serve in leadership roles with marketing organizations, including Bader Rutter & Associates, Valentine Radford Advertising and BASF Corporation in Research Triangle Park.
Angela first established Communicopia in Raleigh, managing the agency’s growth and evolution into the full-service marketing and public relations firm it is today. Now with offices in historic downtown Wake Forest, North Carolina, Communicopia has local as well as national clients.
Originally from a farming community in Iowa, Angela moved to North Carolina for her career and has chosen the area as her home, where she and her husband Warner are raising their teenage daughter Camryn.
Angela stays active in her industry, her community and her daughter’s school. She’s a Wakefield Rotarian and served as her Rotary club president in 2016-17. Angela is president of the Rolesville Friends of FFA, serves on the Rolesville High Business Alliance and is vice chair of the Wake Forest, Inc. board of directors.
Communicopia was named Small Business of the Year in 2015 by the Wake Forest Chamber of Commerce.

Natalie first joined Communicopia as an intern in June 2012, when she began to learn the ins and outs of working at a public relations and marketing agency. Upon graduating from the University of North Carolina Wilmington in 2011, she joined Communicopia part-time as an account coordinator.
Today, she works as a full-time account executive and public relations writer, responsible for writing (news releases, marketing plans, website copy, advertising and promotional copy, etc.), project management, media placement reports and social media, among other marketing duties.
While attending college in Wilmington, she was a staff writer for the UNCW student newspaperThe Seahawk and also played on the club softball team for two years. During school, she worked as a reservation receptionist with Kampgrounds of America (KOA), where she booked reservations, checked people into their campsites and assisted in planning events for holiday weekends.
After college, she also worked part-time as a paralegal assistant for Cookson Law in Raleigh, assisting in the process of getting residential properties to the closing table.
Natalie is a member of the Wake Forest Chamber’s Young Professional’s group, which meets monthly for networking and socials, and a participant in the Wake Forest Chamber’s 2017-2018 Leadership Wake Forest Class.
Originally from Wake Forest, Natalie enjoys working in historic downtown on White Street. When not working, she attends music concerts, participates in outdoor activities, expands her creativity through crafting and spends time with family and friends.
